James Clyde Millsap

Obituary Date: Monday, September 24, 2012

James Clyde Millsap 71 a native of Hall County, Georgia. He was the second child born to the union of the late Hubert and Mildred (Adams) Millsap. He passed this life on Monday, September 24, 2012 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia.

He was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church. James attended Fair Street High School and was a 3rd Degree Master Mason. He was known by many as "Pee Wee" and had worked for the East Hall School System as a bus driver for many years and was a truck driver for Haynes Trucking until his health began to fail him.

Surviving are his daughters, Shannon Borders and Niviea Williams; his sisters, Ruby F. Wilburn, Beverly J. Millsap, Malbree Davenport and Betty Hopkins; a brother, Lamar Millsap; an aunt, Thelma Winters, an uncle; Edward Cheeks; special friends Geraldine Morrow and Annie Pearl Holland and families; 3 grandchildren, Parazsity Pierce, Rayshad Borders and Quandra Borders; three great-grandchildren, Aziyah Pierce, Deante' Borders and Jala Lipscomb; several nieces, nephews a host of cousins and other dear and close friends.

James was also preceded in death by his brothers, Salathiel, Douglas M. and Dariel Millsap, two nephews and several aunts and uncles.


Funeral Service is 1:00 pm Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Antioch Baptist Church 1010 Mill Street with the Rev. Rodney Lackey, officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6:00- 8:00pm. Burial in Alta Vista Cemetery.
