Mrs. Karen Lee Thomas, age 50, of Buford, GA passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2012. She is survived by her husband of fifteen years, Wayne A. Thomas, Buford, GA; daughter, Jessica Thomas, Buford, GA; son, Dylan Thomas, Buford, GA; mother, Janice Supchak, Cumming, GA; father, Karl Supchak and wife, Beverly Supchak, Blairsville, GA; sister, Kellie McKenna, Gainesville, VA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Steve and Lynette Thomas, Buford, GA; aunts and uncles; two nieces, cousins and other relatives in England; and step sisters, Janet Turner, Anchorage, AK and Bobbie Lancaster and husband, Brian Lancaster, Sugar Hill, GA. Mrs. Thomas was born March 30, 1962 in Newark, NJ. She was a 1980 graduate of Sequoyah High School in Doraville, GA. She was a customer service representative with Thermofisher Scientific in Suwanee, GA. She was a member of River's Edge Church in Sugar Hill, GA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. G. Stephen Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA.
