Richard Marlan Oren

Funeral services for Richard Marlan Oren, age 72, of Clarkesville will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 1, 2012 from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Demorest with Mr. Gerald Richmond officiating.

Mr. Oren died August 26, 2012.

Born in Randolph County, Indiana on June 7, 1940, Mr. Oren was the son of the late Thurman and Sarah Smith Oren. Mr. Oren was a sales manager with PFG Miltons food service company.

Survivors include his wife Nola Riffe Oren of Clarkesville; daughter Kathy Rix of Fishers, Indiana; sons and daughters in law Michael and Aedin Oren of Demorest, Georgia, Scott and Janice Oren of Lilburn, Georgia, Richard and Kathy Oren of Plantation, Florida; sisters Nancy Conner of Oxford, Ohio and Pamela Beech of Lafayette, Indiana; grandchildren Keith, Kyle, Kenneth, Joseph, Heather, Justin, Weston, Alex, Kelly, Michael, Jr. and Corey, as well as great grandchildren Cody, Cole, Jeanica, McKinsey, Emily, Kayla, and Logan.

The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 31, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
