Eddie Thomas

Eddie Thomas , age 68 of Gainesville died suddenly Wednesday August 8, 2012 while in Panama City, Florida.

Funeral service is scheduled for 2 PM Sunday August 12, 2012 at the Little-Davenport Chapel. The Rev. Cecil Thomas and the Rev. Lester Haynes will officiate and interment will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Cornelia.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Mr.

Thomas was born in Gainesville and lived in this area all of his life, he was a member of Harmony Hall Baptist Church and had been attending Lakewood Baptist Church for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Jasper and Kathleen Key Thomas, two Brothers
