Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. David Brent Hardiman, of Jefferson, Ga. who passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at his residence with his loving family gathered around him.
Mr. Hardiman was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Robert Hardiman and Gloria Jean Adams Wilson. Mr. Hardiman served his country faithfully in the United States Navy during the Vietnam war. Mr. Hardiman was a sales manager at Akins Ford in Winder, Georgia with over 22 years of service.
A memorial service, including military honors, will be held on Monday, March 19 at 1:00 P.M. at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Williams and Mr. Brad Akins officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday March 19, 2012 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Graveside services will be on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Georgia National Cemetery, 9310 Knox Bridge Highway, Canton, Georgia, 30114.
Survivors include his Wife, Beverly A. Hardiman of Jefferson, Georgia; Mother, Gloria Jean Adams Wilson of Florence, Kentucky; Daughters and Sons-in-law: Brittany and Lamont Dozier of Braselton, Georgia; Jeanette and Dan Meyers of Smyrna, Georgia; Stacie and John El-Attrache of Olathe, Kansas; Son, Alex Shead of Lawrenceville, Georgia; Sister, Linda Bauman of Villa Hills, Kentucky; Sister and Brother-in-law; Susan and Doug Harper of Lawrenceville, Georgia; Grandchildren: Lily Dozier, Sophia Dozier, Madeleine Meyers, Katelyn Meyers, Morgan El-Attrache, Parker El-Attrache, Stone El-Attrache, Avery Shead, and Allie Shead, and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to DAVID HARDIMAN FUND, In care of BB&T Bank, 435 Broad Street, Winder, Georgia 30680-2037 so that David's legacy, of helping families during difficult times, may continue.
