Joanna Elaine Kraft

Joanna Elaine Kraft, age 28, of Dahlonega, GA died Monday, March 12, 2012 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

She was born April 4, 1983 in the Sautee Nacoochee community in White County, GA.

Joanna was a horse enthusiast and loved to ride. She was an avid animal lover and donated her time to animal rescue organizations. She helped the homeless and families in need through donations to "Families in Need", a North Georgia Facebook network. She also loved to cook and wanted to go to culinary school to become a chef.

Joanna was preceded in death by an uncle, Paul L. Otts.

She is survived by her mother, Katherine Kraft, Sugar Land, TX; father, David Kraft and his fiancé Deneen Trammell, of Dahlonega, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey and Emily Kraft, Columbus, GA; grandparents, Frank and Joan Kraft, Ocala, FL, Darlene Kraft, Gainesville, GA, Billy and Lee Otts, Hephzibah, GA; aunts and uncles, Michelle Kraft, Denise Roberson, Genny Otts, Donna Otts, William J. Otts, Glenn F. Otts, and Stephen Kraft. A number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Joanna are scheduled for 11 AM Friday, March 16, 2012 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Frank Colladay will officiate.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Thursday from 6 PM until 8 PM.
