Douglas Ray "Doug" Hicks

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday March 6, 2012 in Wards Funeral Home Chapel for Douglas Ray "Doug" Hicks, 53 of Gainesville. Pastor Dwayne Payne will officiate. The burial will be in Betheleham Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday Evening 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Funeral Home.

Mr. Hicks passed away Sunday March 4, 2012 at N.E Ga. Medical Center.

Mr. Hicks was a lifelong resident of Hall County. He had served in the U.S. Army Reserve and had worked in the Construction Field . He was of the Penecostal Faith and was preceded in death by his father Don Hicks.

Survivors include Son Daniel Hicks of Gainesville, Mother Margie W. Hicks of Gainesville, Sister Deborah Hyde of Gainesville, Brothers Donald Hicks of Gainesville and David Hicks of Dahlonega .
