Helen Holcomb Fain

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mrs. Helen Holcomb Fain, age 79 of Cleveland.

Mrs. Fain passed away Saturday, March 03, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Monday, March 5, 2012 from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Danny Jarrard and Rev. Phillip Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in Gateway Memory Park.

Mrs. Fain was born in Towns County on October 25, 1932 to the late Fred Holcomb and Faye Rogers Holcomb. She retired from Harmony Grove Mills formerly known as Ames Textile and was an active member of Crescent Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fain is preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Holcomb.

Survivors include her husband, Herbert Fain, Cleveland, sisters, Opal Merritt, Cleveland; Virginia Dean, Helen; brothers, Bill "James" Holcomb, Hiawassee; Bud Guy Eugene Holcomb, Young Harris; Fred Holcomb Jr., Cleveland as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and additional relatives.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 9 pm. Flowers will be acknowledged or memorial donations may be made to Crecent Hill Baptist Church in memory of Helen Fain.
