Sylvia K. Strain

Sylvia K. Strain, age 73, of Cumming, passed away at her residence on Thursday, December 15, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theo and Mattie Lou Kendall; brother and sister-in-law, James and Kathleen Kendall.


Survivors include her husband, Herbert Leon Strain of Cumming; daughter, Christi Tralle of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Colin and Beth Strain of Flowery Branch; grand children, Zachary Charles, Brandon and James Strain, Whitney Tralle, Hali Hamilton, Cameron and Kendall Tralle, Matthew and Michael Strain and Braxton Sneddon; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Dale Pass of Marietta; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 21st at 11:00 am at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dan Strain and Rev. Larry Patton officiating. Interment will follow in Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
