Aurelia Fischer Gittings

Aurelia Fischer Gittings, age 96, of Gainesville passed away Monday, December 5, 2011 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 10:00 am in Memorial Park Cemetery with the Reverend Doug Dailey officiating.

Mrs. Gittings was born August 1, 1915 in Tell City, Indiana to the late Fred and Carrie Elizabeth Fischer. Mrs. Fischer was a retired Librarian from Tell City, and a member of Grace Episcopal Church.

She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, William & Judy McMahan of Lula, granddaughter & husband, Molly and Keith Rooks of Gainesville, great-grandchildren, Katie and Patrick Rooks of Gainesville, granddaughter, Holly McMahan of Woodstock.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Grace Episcopal Church, 422 Brenau Ave, NE, Gainesville, GA 30501.
