Irene Stevens Holman

Obituary Date: Thursday, July 28, 2011
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday July 31, 2011 in Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Irene Stevens Holman of Gainesville. Rev. Les Fuller and Rev. Steve Baker will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 pm- 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm. Mrs. Holman passed away Thursday July 28, 2011 following a sudden illness.
Mrs Holman was a lifelong resident of Hall County and was the daughter of Hubert and Nell Hudson Stevens. Mrs Holman along with her husband Clyde, Owned and operated Holman TV and Appliance, she also worked for Classic Tall & Big Men's Shop, Millner's Ladies Store and was employeed at Burton's Department Store. She was a member of Mt. Zion #2 Baptist Church in Lumpkin Co.. She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Clyde Holman, 3 sisters and 1 brother.

Holman of Tucker, Ga., Brother Jack Stevens of Gainesville, Grandchildren Tammy & Scott Dill of Gainesville, Chad Hulsey of Gainesville and Julia & Joseph Barbani, Ft. Rucker, Al., Great Grandchildren Morgan Dill, McKinsie Dill and Maddux Dill, of Gainesville, and a numerous number of nieces, nephews and friends.
