Virginia Jacks Bruce

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Virginia Jacks Bruce, age 89, of Stone Mountain, Ga. who passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Mrs. Bruce was born in Jackson County, a daughter to the late Bailey and Lunie Sheffield Jacks. Mrs. Bruce was retired from Kmart, where she was a department manager. Her husband, John Franklin Bruce, 4 sisters, 4 brothers and a great grandchild, all preceded her in death.

Survivors include sons, Jeff and Becky Bruce, Stone Mountain, Charles and Terri Bruce Toccoa, grandchildren, Jeffrey Ray Bruce, Lisa Bruce Folds, Jasmine Carter, Heather Wheeler, Maya Wheeler, Christy Frothingham, Robert Pressley, Nathan Pressley, great grandchildren, William Bruce, Emma Frothingham.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 1pm at the Graveside in the Galilee Christian Church Cemetery with Rev. Don Brandon officiating. The visitation will be held on Saturday from 11-1pm in the funeral home, prior to the service.
