Little & Davenport Funeral Home announces the death of Cecelia Evon, 95, of Gainesville, GA, who passed away Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Gwinnett Medical Center under hospice care.



A Mass of the Resurrection will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 14, 2011 at St. Michael Catholic Church Father Nicholas Azar Celebrant. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 13, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Little & Davenport Funeral Home.



Cecelia was born in Oregon, IL and later moved with her family to Plymouth, Ohio. She graduated from Ashtabula High School. She married Stephen Evon in 1935; and they had three sons; Thomas, Robert and Theodore. She retired after many years of service from Ohio Bell/AT&T.



She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Joseph Evon; and her sons, Robert Joseph and Theodore Michael.



She is survived by her son Thomas Stephen Evon and daughters-in-law Marilyn K. McSweeney Evon, Judy Evon and Jean Evon. She was the proud grandmother of ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.



In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Catholic Church, 1440 Pearce Circle, Gainesville, GA 30501.
