Elise Bramblett

Elise Bramblett, age 63, a lifelong resident of Marietta, passed away on January 14, 2011 due to complications from diabetes and congestive heart failure.

Ms. Bramblett was a career teacher who taught at Sprayberry, North Cobb and Harrison, as well as working for a time in the Eastside Baptist Church children's ministry.

She is survived by her two sisters, Susan Nix of Marietta and Grace Thomason of Universal City, Texas; her brother-in-law Steve Thomason of Universal City, Texas; three nephews, Marty Nix of Marietta, Russ Thomason of Fort Collins, Colorado and Adam Thomason of Houston, Texas and one great nephew, R.J. Thomason.

There will be a memorial Service held on Saturday, January 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Eastside Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Elise Bramblett Memorial Fund care of Harrison High School, which will contribute to scholarships and other charitable causes.
