Patricia Gail Herrington, 58, of Gainesville passed away at her residence following an extended illness,

Funeral services will be held Tuesday December 14, 2010 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Randal Popham officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 6pm-9pm at the funeral home.

Ms. Herrington was born Oct. 16, 1952 to Ralph and Shirley Elaine Herrington. Ms. Herrington was of the Baptist Faith . She is preceded in death by her brother Mike Herrington.

Ms. Herrington is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Michele Hughes Oja and Tom Oja of FL, son Jacob Herrington of Gainesville, grandson Keenan Wiggins, granddaughter Kenisha Wiggins, nieces Devin Wofford and Blakley Wofford, companion Steven Day of Gainesville, sister Sabrina Wofford of Gainesville, sister Janet Bennett of Gainesville, grandmother Mable Edwards of Cornelia, and a host of other relatives.
