Helen Mullins Austin

Graveside services for Helen Mullins Austin, age 82, of Rabun Gap, will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, December 4, 2010 from the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery with Dale Harding officiating.

Mrs. Austin passed away Sunday, November 28, 2010 following a period of declining health.

Born January 10, 1928 in West Virginia, Mrs. Austin was the daughter of the late Judge and Gladys Mullins. Mrs. Austin was of the Baptist Faith and she was a Homemaker. In addition to her parents Mrs. Austin is preceded in death by her husband James Blaine Austin, Sr and a son Karl Austin.

Survivors include daughters Alice Lenette Mitchell of Florence, South Carolina and Glenda Koonce of Rabun Gap, sons James Blaine Austin, Jr. of Buena Vista, Colorado, Larry Austin of Caribou, Maine, Randal Austin and Mark Austin, both of Chicago, Illinois, four brothers, seven sisters, 15 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 3, 2010 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
