Willie T. Morrison

Willie Tate Morrison, age 84 of Dahlonega, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2010 at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Morrison was born May 1, 1926 in Gainesville to the late Fred and May Bell Edge Morrison. He was a member of Phillipi Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his wife, Magdaline Morrison, brothers, Ralph Morrison, J.T. Morrison, Edward Morrison, Earl Morrison, great-grandson, Bailey Morrison.

Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Dorothy and Nicky Jenkins; Patsy and Phill Miller, all of Cleveland; sister Bessie Autry, Edna Ray, both of Habersham County; brother Rafe Morrison, Cleveland; grandchildren, Michael Jenkins; Sandy and Shane Savage; Phillip and Hannah Miller, all of Cleveland; great-grandchildren, Bryce Miller, Kayla Miller, both of Cleveland.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Saturday, October 30, 2010 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Phillipi Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
