Robert N. Borders

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Robert Ned Borders age 73 of Jefferson, GA, who passed away on October 17, 2010. He was born on March 15, 1937 in Barrow County, GA, A son to the late Howard J. and Rosa Mae Deaton Borders. Mr. Borders was preceded in death by his sister Syril Guffin. Mr. Borders was a retired truck driver and he attended White Plains Baptist Church.

Survivors include His wife Duvina Roberts Borders, of Jefferson. Daughters Ginger Borders Lee of Jefferson and Connie Doster of Winder. Brothers Timan Borders of Villa Rica and Paul Borders of Winder. Sisters Frances Casper of Bethlehem and Peggy Cochrin of Buford. 3 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday October 19, 2010 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Vaughn Howington, Jr. officiating. The burial will follow in the White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends on Monday October 18, from 6-9pm, at the funeral home.
