John Haswell Brien

Mr. John Haswell Brien, age 88 of Tucker formerly of Sautee passed away Wednesday September 15, 2010 at Dekalb Medical Center.

Mr. Brien was born October 11, 1921 to the late Herman and Laura Mae Vaughn Brien. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Bob Brien. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Brien worked for Colonial Pipe Line as a manager and was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection.

Survivors include: wife: Elizabeth Atkinson Brien, Tucker; daughter: Laura Byrd, Lilburn; sons: Rusty Brien, Lilburn and Bob Brien, Dacula; brothers: Bill Brien, CA;
Tom Brien, San Antonio, TX and Dick Brien, CA: 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, September 17, 2010 at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection with the Rev. Scott Kidd officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah View Memorial Gardens.
