Doris Lee Reeves

Doris Lee Reeves, 66, of Gainesville passed away August 8, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday August 10, 2010 at New Haven Congregational Holiness Church at 3:30pm with the Rev. Wayne Hicks and Rev. John Belangia officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday August 9, 2010 from 3pm-5pm and 6pm-8pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Reeves was born October 25, 1943 in Habersham County to the late Walter and Lois Honea Allison. She retired from Fieldale Farms after 38 years. She was a member of New Haven Congregational Holiness Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Franklin H. Reeves, son Michael Croy, sister Joyce Helton.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Deborah and Billy Fisher of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law Penny and Robert Armantrout of Gainesville, son Ray Ballard of Gainesville, sister Linda Lewis of Gainesville, sister and brother-in-law Becky and David Nix of Gainesville, brother Ronald Ray Helton of Cleveland. 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, mother-in-law Connell Reeves of Jefferson.
