Clayton Lamar Palmer

Mr. Clayton Lamar Palmer, age 65 of Nicholson, GA died July 31, 2010 at the St. Mary's Hospice House. Mr. Palmer was born in Nicholson to the late, George Clayton and Helen Whitehead Palmer. Mr. Palmer was retired from Power Partners and was a US Army Veteran. Mr. Palmer was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a quiet man who lived his faith and set a Christian example for those blessed enough to have known him.

Mr. Palmer is survived by his wife; Helen Baker Palmer of Nicholson, GA, sons and daughters-in-law; Jason and Chanda Palmer of Commerce, GA and Travis and Shannon Palmer of Nicholson, GA, daughter; Melissa Palmer of Nicholson, GA, brother; William Palmer of Nicholson, GA, sister; Gail Barnett of Nicholson, GA and grandchildren; Gailey Palmer, Grace Palmer, and Morgan Palmer.

Funeral service will be Tuesday 11 AM from the River of Life Worship Center with the Rev. Bobby Ivester, Rev. Mike Stowers, and Rev. Dennis Kesler officiating with the interment following in Howington Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday night from 6-9 PM.
