Brian Dale Meeks

Mr. Brian Dale Meeks, age 48, of Dahlonega died May 17, 2010.

A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Brian had lived in Dahlonega for the past 13 years. He was a member of The Fountain Church of God of Prophecy of Dahlonega.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dave Meeks; and a brother, Jeff Meeks.

Brian is survived by his wife, Carol Jarrard Meeks, Dahlonega; sons, Jarred Meeks and Doug Abercrombie, both of Dahlonega; mother, Delores Meeks, Oklahoma; sisters, Carrie Chavers, Oklahoma, Tammy Eckerd, Florida; brothers, Steve Meeks, Gainesville, GA, Patrick Meeks, Virginia, Larry Meeks, Arizona, Kelly Meeks, Texas; father-in-law and mother-in-law, L.J. and Betty Jarrard, Dahlonega. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday May 22, 2010 at The Fountain Church of God of Prophecy of Dahlonega. Pastor Bo Robinson will officiate.

Interment will follow in Dahlonega Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers a fund has been setup at The Fountain Church of God of Prophecy for Carol and Jarred, P.O. Box 614 Dahlonega, GA 30533.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Friday, May 21, 2010 from 10 AM until 9 PM.

Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega is in charge of arrangements.
