Imogene Karr Harris

Mrs. Imogene Karr Harris, age 86, of Cumming, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010.

Mrs. Harris was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and in recent years attended Salem Baptist Church and Cumming New Life Church. She spent over 30 years teaching in the school system. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Jerome Harris; parents, Luther and Maude Karr; brother, Lemuel Karr and sister, Dorothy Grindle.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Linda Harris of Roswell and David and Robin Harris of Gainesville; grandchildren, Michelle and Adam Suter, Amanda and Stuart Lester, Will and Erin Harris, Jeremy Harris, Travis Harris, Scarlett Harris and Wesley Harris; 2 great grandchildren, Natalie Suter and C.J. Suter; sister, Elizabeth Welden of Lawrenceville; sisters-in-law, Lucile Karr and Pauline Arrington both of Cumming; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, May 7, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Harris officiating. Interment willfollow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends,Thursday, May 6th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Friday, May 7th from 9:30 am until time of service.
