Fannie Lou Young

Mrs. Fannie Lou Young, 94 of Old Dahlonega Highway, Murrayville died Friday April 2, 2010.

A life long resident of Hall County, Mrs. Young was the daughter of the late David and Nora Lou Grizzle Head. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Mrs. Young is preceded in death by her husband, Ned M. Young and daughter, Essaletta Cooper.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law; Ron and Shirley Young, Gainesville; Randall and Faye Young, Gainesville; daughters and sons-in-law; Lanellda and J.L. Allison, Gainesville; Sybil and Gary Nash, Danielsville; Deborah and Denny Sullens, Dahlonega; Laquita and Joe Ingram, Gainesville; Sheryl and Derrold Nash, Danielsville; sisters-in-law; Mabel Head, Cleveland; Mattie Gilleland, Gainesville. 17 Grandchildren 21 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday April 5, 2010 in the Little & Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Selmon Gilleland and the Rev. Dean Bryant will officiate. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday April 3, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that contributions be made to the Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center, 2150 Limestone Parkway, Suite 115, Gainesville, Georgia 30501.
