Latrelle Haynes McGhee

Obituary Date: Tuesday, March 30, 2010
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday April 1, 2010 at Pine Crest Baptist Church for Latrelle Haynes McGhee, 76, Gainesville. Rev. Parrish Myers, Rev. David Smith, and Johnny Burkett officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. McGhee will lie in state from 1:30 - 2:00 pm Thursday at the church. The Family will recieve friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Tuesday and 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Wednesday. Mrs. McGhee was born in Jackson County and had lived most of her life in Hall county. She was the daughter of the late Fletcher & Mamie Shoemake Haynes. She attended Oakwood High School. She retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture as a poultry inspector at Fieldale. Mrs. McGhee was a charter member of Pine Crest Baptist Church and was active in all church activities. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by everyone that knew her. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Haynes and Jerry Haynes. Sons & daughters-in-law, Scott & Tina McGhee, Braselton, Ga., Chuck & Linda McGhee, Giinesville. Daughter & son-in-law, Lynn & Mike Smith, Chestnut Mountain, Ga., Brothers, Gerald Haynes, and David Haynes, Chestnut Mountain, Ga., Sisters, Mildred Strickland Murphy, Chestnut Mountain, Ga., Mary Ann Bates, Gainesville. , Hazel Reed Chestnut Mountain, Ga., Grandchildren, Ashley Huskin, Brian McGhee, Hunter McGhee, Great Grand Child, Kelsey Huskin, and a number of nieces and nephews.
