Mamie Dell Flanagan

Obituary Date: Saturday, February 6, 2010
Mamie Dell Flanagan, 80, of Gainesville passed away Saturday February 6, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.



Funeral services will be held Tuesday February 9, 2010 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Cannon, Rev. Palmour Loggins, and Rev. Grady White interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9am-9pm Monday at the funeral home.



Mrs. Flanagan was born July 24, 1929 in Hall County to the late John Wesley and Daisy Bell Carrol Hulsey. She worked at the Hall County Hospital/ Guilford Mills. Mrs. Flanagan was a member of Cannon Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Hubert Flanagan, sisters Clara Mae Flanagan, and Annie Bell Carlisle.



Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Lamar & Wanda Mangum of Gillsville, daughter and son-in-law Louise & Billy Hicks of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law Shelia & Mickey Harkins of Dahlonega, daughter and son-in-law Janice & Larry Shirley of Baldwin, daughter and son-in-law Barbara & Clyde Witt of Dahlonega, daughter and son-in-law Lynn and Dennis Delong of Gainesville, 18 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, sister and brother-in-law Doris and Palmour Loggins of Dawsonville, brother and sister-in-law Ed and Evelyn Hulsey of Fort Payne Alabama, also a host of nieces and nephews
