Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 24, 2010 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home for Stephanie Elaine Tate, 30, of Gainesville. Rev. Jimmy Wilbanks, Rev. Pierce Ashmore, and Rev. David Lewis will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday at Little & Davenport Funeral Home between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at 4:00 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, 3655 Atlanta Hwy, Athens, GA, 30606.

She was born March 7, 1979, in Clarke County to Michael Tate and Elaine Bergmann. She was a 1997 graduate of North Hall High School and had attended Brenau University. She had lived most of her live in Hall County. She was a Customer Service Rep with D.S. Waters in Flowery Branch/ Crystal Springs. She attended Community Chapel and Free Chapel. Stephanie has gone on the meet the Lord after an extensive illness. She was active in church and with singing in church. She will be greatly missed. We Love You Steph.

She is survived by her mother and step-father, Elaine and Avery Bergmann of Gainesville; father, Michael Tate of Nicholson; sisters, Carey Tate of Gainesville, Jamie Tate of Nicholson; step-sister, Lindsey Bowers of Colbert; grandmothers, Margaret Kendrick of Gainesville, Mary Le Tate of Nicholson and 2 nephews.
