Ronnie L. (Ronnie ) Seabolt

Ivie Funeral Home announce services for Ronnie L. (Ronnie ) Seabolt age 66 of Commerce who died Saturday Dec. 12, 2009 .
Mr. Seabolt was a member of the Commerce Church of Christ. He was retired from Jackson County where he was a Correctional Officer. Mr. Seabolt had served many years on the Commerce Planning and Commission and was a former member of the Commerce Board of Education. He received the Volunterr of the Year Award from the Commerce City School System, where he had donated many hours of his time including driving school buses. Until declining health prevented him from working, he was a cherished member of the staff at Ivie Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife Mary Seabolt of the home, a son Philip (Kim) Seabolt of Commerce, a daughter Kim (Bobby) Caudell of Commerce, 3 brothers, Jerry Seabolt of Commerce, Joe Seabolt of Mabelton and Ray Seabolt of Monroe along with a sister Ann Hatfield of Douglasville, Ga. Five grandchildren , Zeke, Madison, Alec, Sidnei, and Kade-Andrew, along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday Dec. 15, 2009 from the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Minister Ernest Burdette and Rev. Swayne Cochran officiating with burial in the Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 PM.
