Anthony Peyton Wehunt

Anthony Peyton Wehunt, the 7 week old infant son of Shaina and Anthony Wehunt of Dahlonega, GA died Monday November 30, 2009 at the Chestatee Regional Hospital in Dahlonega from complications of Ventricular Septal Defect and Trisomy 18.

Peyton was preceded in death by grandmother, Lisa Perry; and grandfather, Tony Wehunt.

He is survived by his parents, Shaina and Anthony Wehunt, Dahlonega, GA; sister, Hailey Wehunt, Dahlonega, GA; grandparents, David and Becky Beck, Dalton, GA, Sheila Wehunt, Dahlonega, GA; great-grandparents, Shirley Perry, Dahlonega, GA, Dot and Jewell Lingerfelt, Dahlonega, GA, Max and Deborah Wehunt, Dahlonega, GA; special aunt, Shauna Lingerfelt, Dahlonega, GA. A number of aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services for Peyton are scheduled for 2 PM Wednesday December 2, 2009 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega.

Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12 Noon until 2 PM.
