Leornard Lee Purdy Jr.

Ivie Funeral Home announces services for Leonard Lee Purdy, Jr., 62, of Commerce who dies early Sunday morning at BJC Hospital. Born in Fayetteville, NC, he was the son of the late Leornard Lee Purdy, Sr. and Vivian Parker Purdy. He was married to Ann Richey Purdy of the residence and was a retired GYSGT with the U.S. Marine Corps having served in Vietnam.

Survivors, along with his wife, include a son, Leonard Lee Purdy, III of Carrollton; a brother, Johnny Purdy of Watkinsville; 7 GC and 1 GGC.

Funeral services for Leornard Lee Purdy, Jr. will be conducted on Wednesday at 2 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Webbs Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6-9 PM and at the other times at the home located at 143 Lewallen Rd. in Commerce.
