Thomas Randolph "Tommy" Griffin

Funeral services will be held for Thomas Randolph "Tommy" Griffin , 62, of Emory Griffin Rd., Gillsville at 2:00 pm Monday October 19, 2009 in Lebanon United Methodist Church,Rev. Marshall Dale Officiating. Burial in Lebanon Perpetual Care Cemetery. Mr. Griffin will lie in state 1:30- 2:00pm at the Church. The family will receive friends 2pm- 4pm & 6pm-8pm Sunday at the Wards Funeral Home. Mr. Griffin was born in Hall County February 5, 1947 to his parents William Russell Griffin and Kathleen Gilmer Griffin. He was retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation . He had been a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church since the age of 11. In past years he had coached Little League Baseball . Tommy will be missed by his many friends and family members. He was a loving son to his mother, a wonderful father, and grandfather . He was preceded in death by his father William Russell Griffin, a sister Becky Griffin and a son Brandon Griffin. Those wishing may make donations to the Lebanon United Methodist Building Fund. He is survived by sons & daughters-in-law, Randy & Jennifer Griffin, Gillsville. Rusty & Mandy Griffin, Gainesville.
