James Harold Vickery

Mr. James Harold Vickery, age 83, of Commerce, GA died Tuesday October 13, 2009 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mr. Vickery was born in Murray County to the late, Jack C. and Docie Gordon Vickery. Mr. Vickery was a retired textile worker and of the Baptist Faith.


Mr. Vickery is survived by his wife Hershelene Seagraves Vickery of Commerce, GA; daughters Carol McNabb of Commerce, GA, Cathy Standridge of Commerce, GA, and Rhonda Stephenson of Jefferson, GA; son Scott Vickery of Colbert, GA; brother John Vickery of Colbert, GA; sister Morea Ayers of Forest Park, GA; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.


Funeral service will be Friday 11:00 AM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Henry Webb and Rev. James Lee officiating with the interment following at Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday night from 6-8 PM.
