Arlena Harbin

Arlena Harbin, age 92, passed away on Saturday October 10, 2009 at Brookshire Nursing Center in Hillsborough, NC. Prior to moving to NC Mrs. Harbin had been a resident of Cleveland, Georgia.

Mrs. Harbin was born in Pikeville, KY on September 23, 1917 to the late Lonzo J and Birdie Carter May. She was also preceded in death by her husband Grady M Harbin, her son Grady Lon Harbin, her brother L D May and half sister Patricia Ann May.

Mrs. Harbin was a mother and homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cleveland and active in the community
She is survived by her daughter, Betty Harbin Myers and four grandchildren: Juliet Myers Wolfe,Grady L Harbin, Jr., Robert Harbin, Michael Harbin; 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday October 13, 2009 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.
The Rev. Dennis Turner will officiate. Burial will follow in Gateway Memory Park.

The family will receive friends 11 a.m. till 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
