Glenn Thomas (Tommy) Hamby

Mr. Glenn Thomas (Tommy) Hamby, age 76 of Cumming, GA passed away Saturday, October 10, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sue Hamby. He was of the Baptist faith.



Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and Lamar Day of Dahlonega and Teresa and Randy Mitchell of Cumming; grandsons and spouse, Anthony and Tracy Day of Cumming, Jason Day of Dahlonega, Jesse Mitchell of Cumming and Casey Mitchell of Cumming; great granddaughter, Taylor Day of Maysville; great grandson, Hunter Day of Cumming; sisters, Louise Wilbanks of Cumming and Ethel Patterson of Lawrenceville; brothers, John Hamby of Cumming and Mr. & Mrs. David Hamby of Cumming; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.



A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 2:00 pm in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lamar Day and Rev. Harold Evans officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, Oct. 11th from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Monday, Oct. 12th from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm and Tuesday, Oct. 13th from 9:00 am until the hour of service.
