Mattie H. Chambers

Ivie Funeral Home announces services for Mattie H. Chambers age 100 of Nicholson, Ga. who died Sunday Oct. 4, 2009.


Survivors include 3 sons Henry Chambers of Watkinsville, Claude Chambers Jr. and David Chambers both of Nicholson, a daughter Evelyn Wilbanks of Nicholson and a brother Q.D. Hubbard of Andrews, N.C. 15 grandchildren 19 great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren also survive.


Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with the Rev. Alan Segraves officiating with burial in the Nicholson Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home Monday evening from 6 to 9 PM.
