Jeremy Carl Wehunt

Mr. Jeremy Carl Wehunt, age 25, of Dahlonega, GA died Friday September 25, 2009 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Lumpkin County.

Mr. Wehunt was a lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. He was employed as a cabinet maker at Old Federal Millworks in Flowery Branch, GA and attended Bethlehem Baptist Church in Lumpkin County.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Pat Bryant.

He is survived by his wife, Amber Wehunt, Dahlonega, GA; mother and stepfather, Denise and Skipper Bryant, Dahlonega, GA; father and stepmother, Jimmy and Amy Wehunt, Oakwood, GA; brother, Dalton Wehunt, Oakwood, GA; sisters, Jorden Wehunt, Oakwood, GA, Emily Bryant, Dahlonega, GA; grandparents, Terrell and Nell Holtzclaw, Dahlonega, GA, Charlie and Robbie Wehunt, Dahlonega, GA, Bobby and Ann Harbin, Gainesville, GA, mother-in-law and father-in-law, John and Marie Lingle, Dahlonega, GA; father-in-law, Scott Waddell, Ellijay, GA; grandmother-in-law, Marlene Ellis, Ellijay, GA, sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, Jake Lingle, Jason Waddell and Sherry Ferguson, and Carlie Lingle. A number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Wehunt are scheduled for 4 PM Sunday Sept. 27, 2009 at the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Lumpkin County. Rev. Michael Rodgers, Rev. Lyman Caldwell, Rev. Josh Chatham, and Stan Kelley will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Bethlehem/Jones Chapel Cemetery in Lumpkin County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening starting at 7 PM and again on Sunday until the time of service.
