Patty S. Temple

Mrs. Patty S. Temple, age 79, of Dahlonega, GA died Wednesday September 9, 2009 at her home.


Mrs. Temple was a native of Montgomery, AL who had lived in Dahlonega since 1983. She retired from the Hartford Insurance Co. after 38 years of service. She enjoyed wild life, flowers and gardening and did volunteer work at the Community Helping Place.


She was preceded in death by her parents, George Thomas and Magurite Shell and was also preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Richard L. Temple.


Mrs. Temple is survived by her son, Stephen L. Temple, Dahlonega, GA; grandsons, Stephen L. Temple Jr., Dahlonega, GA and Christopher B. Temple, Deer Park, TX; granddaughter, Crystal Dawn Dobson, Tulsa, OK. 5 great-grandchildren and several other relatives also survive.


A graveside funeral service is scheduled for 11:30 AM Friday September 11, 2009 at Dahlonega Memorial Park. Rev. J.R. Fields will officiate.


The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 PM until 8 PM.
