Rebecca Ivester

Rebecca Faye Ivester, age 36 of Turnerville, passed away Wednesday, September 09, 2009, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Born in Habersham County on February 17, 1973, she was the daughter of Patsy Canup Ivester and the late Namon Ivester. Ms. Ivester was a member of Turnerville Church of God and a 1991 graduate of Habersham Central High School. She was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed fishing, watching television and spending quality time with her family.

Surviving are mother, Patsy Canup Ivester of Turnerville; sister, Rhonda Ivester of Turnerville; brother and sister-in-law, Keith & Cathy Ivester of Turnerville; brother, Darrell Ivester of Turnerville; nieces, Brandi Ivester, Savannah Partridge and Addy Partridge; nephews, Dylan Ivester and Nathan Henderson; also surviving are aunts and uncles.

Funeral services are 2:00 pm Saturday, September 12, 2009, at Turnerville Church of God with Rev. Austin Ivester and Rev. Gerald Lee officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Ted Ansley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Friday. The family is at the residence.
