Betty Anderson

Betty Anderson passed away at BJC Medical Center on June 12, 2009 surrounded by family at age 71.

Betty was born in Hall County on Feb. 23, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wadell Richardson from Gainesville, Ga.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Anderson and daughter Debbie Anderson. She is survived by a brother, Charles and Mildred Richardson of Gainesville, Ga.; son, Tommy and Monica Williams of Hoschton, Ga.; son, Kenny Anderson of Commerce, Ga.; and son Doug and Tari Anderson of Lula, Ga.; grandchildren, Jake and Jarred Williams of Gainesville, Ga., Kyle and Tori Anderson of Jefferson, Ga., Clay and Shannon Anderson of Commerce, Ga., Jeff and Heather Pearce of Commerce, Ga., Amanda and Nick Smith of Lula, Ga., and Aaron and Megan Anderson of Commerce, Ga.; great-grandchildren Aiden Anderson, Chloe Anderson, Jaxon Pearce, Kane Smith; niece, Cherry and Henry Timms of Gainesville, Ga.; nephew Randy and Gail Clark of Gainesville, Ga. and Chuck Richardson of Gainesville, Ga.

Visitation will be held at Ivie Funeral Home on Sunday, June 14, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 15 with Pastor Junior Jones officiating. Following services, Betty will be laid to rest next to her husband at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Clermont, Ga. The family will be gathered at the home of Doug Anderson, 227 Garrison Shoals, Lula, Ga. 30554.
