Willie Mae McGee

Obituary Date: Tuesday, May 5, 2009
Willie Mae McGee, age 73 of Roper Hill Rd., Gainesville, Georgia, passed away May 5, 2009 at her residence following an extended illness.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Michael McIntyre will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 8, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 pm and on Saturday, May 9, 2009 from 12:00-2:00 pm.

Mrs. McGee was born on December 11, 1935 in Hall County, Georgia to the late George Washington Wilkerson and Florence Rice Wilkerson. She was a member of Riverbend Baptist Church and a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She cared for many and will be deeply missed by all. Mrs. McGee is preceded in death by her brothers, J. Wilkerson and Ray Wilkerson, her sisters, Ann Wehunt, Mary McCoy, Hester Young, Mamie Mullinax, and Lillie Aikens.

Mrs. McGee is survived by her daughter and special friend Barbara Ramey and Butch DeLong of Gainesville, Georgia, her daughter and special friend, Sandra Hawkins and Johnny Gibbs of Gainesville, Georgia, her daughter and special friend, Marianna Latimer and Doug Edwards of Gainesville, Georgia, her son, Hank Ford of Gainesville, Georgia, her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Tony SanNichols of Adairsville, Georgia, her daughter and special friend, Joy Watkins and Tim Adams of Gainesville, Georgia, her daughter and son-in-law, Shina and Marc Shubert of Alto, Georgia, her grandson, Nicholas Ford, her granddaughter, Autumn Lance, her granddaughter, Patti Parker, her granddaughter, Kelly Morris, her granddaughter, Dwan Harris, her grandson, Justin Snipes, her granddaughter, Natasha Smith, her granddaughter, Alana Latimer, her granddaughter, Chasity Adams, her grandson, Corben Adams, her granddaughter, Danielle SanNichols, her granddaughter, Madison SanNichols, her grandson, John Shubert, her granddaughter, Lauren Shubert, her grandson, Blake Adams, her grandson, Brandon Adams, and 11 great-grandchildren, her sister and brother-in-law, Sylvia and Ray Hawkins of Lula, Georgia, her sister-in-law, Lou Wilkerson of Winder, Georgia, and her sister-in-law, Dorinne Wilkerson of New Jersey.
