Lois C. Gober

Lois C. Gober, 91, of Dawsonville died Saturday April 4, 2009 at her residence following a period of declining health.

Mrs. Gober was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. A homemaker at her death, for many years along with her husband she owned and operated a poultry farm. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gober; daughter, Betty Gober Allen; parents, Ervin and Mary Collins and several sisters and brothers.

Surviving are her daughter, Mary Thompson, Dawsonville; grandson and granddaughter in law, Randy and Susan Allen, Dawsonville; great grandson, Patrick Allen, Dawsonville; sisters in law, Betty Gober, Dawsonville, Virginia Cagle, Dawsonville, and a number of other relatives.
