12B Violation of Code: [511-6-1.03(5)(g)] Food handlers working the meal packaging line wearing watches that hung down over their gloved wrists. The only jewelry that may be worn on hands or lower arms while handling food is a plain ring such as a wedding band. COS: PIC usually checks for jewelry. Food handlers told not watches. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. 17D Violation of Code: [511-6-1.07(2)(i)] Fluorescent light fixtures over refrigerator/freezer area, hot holding cabinet area and shelf where hot meal packs are stored ae not properly shielded to protect these areas from any possible contamination if the fluorescent bulbs where to break. Can shield the entire fixture with a plexiglass cover or slide the fluorescent bulbs into a plastic sheath that comes with end caps to seal the bulb in the tube. New Violation. Remarks: Men's Restroom used by employees of Meals On Wheels and other offices in that part of building needs hot water checked - may need small adjustment to meet 100F requirement for Food Service Regulations. Women's restroom hand sink hot water at 109F.
