Kiwanis Club of Gainesville wants nominations for Youth Service Award

GAINESVILLE - The Kiwanis Club of Gainesville announced this week that it is accepting nominations for the John W. Jacobs, Jr. Youth Service Award.

The award, presented annually, recognizes an individual who has given both time and resources for the betterment of youth in the community.

Nomination forms are available from committee chairman Eddie Hartness at 770-535-7000 or may be found on the Kiwanis Club of Gainesville webpage at www.gainesvillegakiwanis.org.

The deadline for nominations is 12 p.m. on February 28, 2014.
