ACWORTH -- The Chestatee girls basketball team suffered a 53-36 loss to Hiram on Friday in the Lake City Classic basketball tournament on Friday in Acworth.
The Lady War Eagles scored just five points in the fourth quarter, as Hiram pulled ahead for good.
Chestatee (9-3) led 23-18 at the half only to watch Hiram grab a 34-28 advantage heading into the fourth quarter.
Bridgette Kelly scored 12 points to pace the Lady War Eagles, while Kayla Watson added 10 points.
Chestatee plays Sprayberry at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Lake City Classic.
