The Hall County Board of Commissioners narrowly approved a request Thursday evening from Mincey Marble Manufacturing to rezone an 11.68-acre tract of land across the highway from its Browns Bridge Road headquarters, allowing Mincey to construct a 100,000-square foot facility.
Since its completion in 2011, Thurmon Tanner Parkway has been a landscape maintenance challenge. That, hopefully, will change with an intergovernmental agreement to be considered by the Hall County Commission.
The doors opened earlier than advertised at the Gainesville Civic Center Wednesday morning and people began filing in to learn more about “health care”; lower case “health care” – not upper case Health Care as in the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.
