The City of Gainesville's Water Resources Department announced that Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. will be closed to thru traffic beginning Thursday.
The road will be closed from Fair Street to Downey Blvd. as the Water Resources Department repairs a storm drain. The north and east lanes on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. will officially be closed to traffic starting at 9 a.m.
In a press release, the Water Resources Department reminded motorists to drive carefully and to watch for construction workers and equipment.
