Work continues on the new Browns Bridge on State Route 369 and that means some lane closures the next two days. Georgia Department of Transportation crews will be pouring concrete substructures for the new bridge. on Wednesday, Jan. 16 and Thursday, Jan. 17.
Wednesday daytime lane closure
Single Lane Closure 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
Thursday overnight lane closure
Single lane closure 7 p.m. overnight until 6 a.m. Friday morning.
The project replaces the bridge and approaches on SR 369 (Browns Bridge Road) over the Chattahoochee River/Lane Lanier. It was awarded to Scott Bridge Co. in October of 2017 and is on track to complete April of 2020.
This project represents a $27 million transportation investment in Forsyth County.
