Author Lisa Patton will visit Braselton for a book signing and luncheon in honor of her new novel "Rush."
The event will take place September 26 in the lower level of the Community Room in the Braselton Municipal Court building at 11:30 a.m.
"Rush" is set at Ole Miss and details women on both ends of the social ladder experiencing the traditional sorority recruitment process, often referred to as rush. A press statement from the library describes the novel as "an uplifting novel, deeper than getting the inside scoop on sorority rush."
The release states "Rush" has been featured in Southern Living and Deep South magazines.
The event is hosted by the Braselton Library and the luncheon will be provided by Friends of the Braselton-West Jackson Library.
