Investigators with the Winder Police Department said Tuesday they have made a significant heroin arrest.
Investigators served a search warrant at a home on Capitol Avenue and say they found heroin and items that would go along with sale and distribution.
Arrested were Kendrick Davis, 26 and Shurita Davis, 27, both of Winder. Both charged with possession and trafficking, along with other charges. The two were booked into the Barrow County Detention Center.
Investigators also found a 3-week-old baby living in the home where the drug activity was taking place; the infant was turned over to a family member.
The search and arrests happened on September 13.
