A 24-year-old Lavonia man suffered serious injuries in a crash on GA 365 Monday morning.
The Georgia State Patrol said the accident was reported at 5:19 a.m. at Kudzu Hill Road.
Tristan Mears was traveling southbound on GA 365 when he passed two vehicles and traveled off the west shoulder of the roadway. A witness in one of the vehicles said Mears' 2002 Honda Civic EX hit an embankment and then struck some small trees.
GSP said Mears was taken by ambulance to Northeast Georgia Medical Center with serious injuries.
